All of our bears were born in unfortunate captive situations and could NEVER be released into the wild. The bears have been rescued from often inhumane captive situations all over the U.S.

We give the bears the best possible life here at the sanctuary. We also give people an opportunity to see and understand this awesome creature, up close. The bears have become ambassadors for their wild cousins. While at our sanctuary, it is our hope that visitors will leave with an appreciation, understanding, and passion to preserve the grizzly bear and its habitat.

It takes $10,000 per month to provide our grizzly bears with the best possible life and to maintain our educational outreach programs. One bear can eat up to 35 lbs of food per day!

Please lend us a hand, and donate now.* A monthly or a one-time contribution will help continue our mission. Thank you for your support!!!
